چکیده

Searches for Beyond Standard Model (BSM) Higgs bosons at the CMS experiment are presented. The analyses are based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC at CERN at 7 TeV and 8 TeV centre-of-mass energies in the years 2011 and 2012 respectively, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of up to 25 fb−1. No evidence for additional Higgs bosons other than the 125 GeV standard model-like Higgs boson are found, and stringent exclusion limits are derived in different BSM scenarios. Higgs Physics Review of recent results and prospects from ATLAS and CMS

An overview of recent results in Higgs boson physics obtained with the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider located at CERN, Geneva, is presented. The focus is on measurements of the properties of the recently discovered Higgs boson with a mass of about 125 GeV. A brief selection of results in searches for Higgs bosons beyond the Standard Model is given, and prospects of futur...

Evidence for the 125 GeV Higgs Boson Decaying into Taus at the CMS Experiment

A search for a standard model (SM) Higgs boson decaying into a pair of τ leptons is performed using events recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2011 and 2012. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 4.9 fb−1 at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV and 19.7 fb−1 at 8 TeV. Each τ lepton decays hadronically or leptonically to an electron or a muon, leading to six different final...

Singlet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space

In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered,  but our information about  the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as  scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...

LHC Higgs Boson searches

A summary of the Higgs boson searches by the ATLAS and CMS collabrations using 1 f b −1 of LHC data is presented, concentrating on the Standard Model Higgs boson. Both experiments have the sensitivity to exclude at 95% CL a Standard Model Higgs boson in most of the Higgs boson mass region between about 130 GeV and 400 GeV. The observed data allow the exclusion of a Higgs Boson of mass 155 GeV t...

Higgs Physics: from LEP to a Future Linear Collider

New preliminary combined results from the LEP experiments on searches for the Higgs boson beyond the Standard Model are presented. The new determination of the top quark mass at the Tevatron in 2004 influences the interpretations of the LEP results in both, the Standard Model, and the Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model. Higgs boson physics will also be a major research area ...
